My experience is totally different. I bought it once to try out because it's too good to be true for the price. After I cleaned up my yard, I bought another one for the replacement parts if needed in the future. It got stuck maybe you didn't let the gravity do the work. Even big chainsaw also got stuck and burned if you work against gravity. I always trim the trunks from the top down or at least let the gravity pull the cut side apart.

Bought one before. This is a very weak saw. It gets stuck constantly. With no handles in this saw, your best shot is to buy a bypass lopper. HD sells Fiskars lopper at a regular price of $19.98 with much more control and safer than this one.

The batteries in these are horrendous. Both batteries on mine burned out after 4 regular uses. Nothing crazy either.

It doesn't surprise me for this price but mines been fine. Honestly I have no idea how they can sell this thing for this price.

The description says this has a 900W motor and a chain speed of 29 ft/s. For those who have used this Seesii model, how does the chain tension hold up after a few cuts? Does it require frequent adjustments during a session?

i've had a positive experience with this. but ymmv

If you area already in the makia ecosystem, get it as the batteries are compatible. I tried throwing one of the included batteries in a makia circular saw and it didn't work at all, but that was asking a lot.

i mainly use these for cutting down palm tree branches into smaller pieces to put in the garbage. I wouldn't expect too much more out of these. If you are trying to hack down a forest from a $20 kit like this, then look elsewhere.
The occasional trimming....its great.

The guard does suck though, i need to take it off.

I'm fairly surprised by not only the price, but even the 12,000+ ratings and still 4.6 ☆'s

I have a different brand of one of these saws (my guess is they are all made by the same or similar place) and it works well for what we want it to do

I have one as well; love it. At least 2 years old and works fine; batteries are still good. Replacement blades are dirt cheap on eBay. I dip the chain in chain oil before using (just a bit). I haw a Stihl and an Echo and use the Mini when possible. One thing to note is that you do not want to make the chain as tight as on a gas saw; the blade will stop (overload protection?). I though my batteries were going bad until I figured it out. Just ordered another for $20 as a backup. Us SD guys need a backup for everything assuming it's a "deal"; right?

I have this from last time. Should I get another for dual wielding?

For $20 (I paid $17), this has been great. Have gifted a few, have one at home and have one at work. Might get one to throw in the car also.
Does it get stuck from time to time? Sure, wiggle it and it gets unstuck. This got from a factory in China to your front door for $20 or less, give it a break.

I like mine too. One needs to know its limitations. May buy another for backup.
