I would avoid this product if you like to make NY-style pizza or any pizza with a relatively firm crust. When you have to apply a lot of leverage to make the cut, its harder to control than a cutter with a typical handle. And for the same money you can get a decent traditional cutter.

I've had this exact one since 2021, paid $12. Cuts great, cleaning can be a little annoying taking it apart but it takes up less space and is safer with the cover, not that anyone hurts themselves with a pizza cutter (typically). Overall, I'd recommend and would buy it again!

Got some of these at an outlet store for a buck... Nice cutters but difficult to clean.

Idk about this brand but this style of pizza cutter is great. Much better than the type with a handle.

I loved ours! Until I dropped it on the floor one time and the latching mechanism broke. Don't drop it!

Have you tried this product? I feel that is exactly what it is great with since you apply all the leverage from the top down. I have this and used for years, am from NYC and it works great for all types of pizza. Easy, much safer than traditional cutters (my uncle almost lost his eye from a pizza cutter wheel that broke off). This plastic guard blocks it.

It is also easier for me to clean than a traditional cutter, since you can get everything off the wheel (360) since it comes apart in a second. Then can also throw in the dishwasher.

I bought this a few years ago, it's terrible and I threw it in the garbage. Use the old school cutter, tried and tested

Awesome, everything will stuck on the underside of the wheel blade that you can't take out.

Wait, a pizza cutter that removes the leverage of a handle? It's like using a rock for a hammer Smilie

These comments seem to be from those who don't spend time in the kitchen.

I have been using this style of pizza cutter for over a decade. The leverage you get can't be beat and it gets used for everything.

Pizza, quesadillas, dough...well I guess mostly just those 3. Smilie

Have this. Works great. Not sure why the negative reviews. My wife loved this more than I do. She likes it to easily cut up food for our toddler. Works great for chicken tenders, tofu, pb and j sandwiches, etc so they're easier for our toddler to hold and snack.

I bought this. Or a product like it. I actually like it a lot. But there is a flaw that keeps me from using it. One of the features I like most about it is it has a blade cover. So it can float around in a drawer without the blade getting beat up or risking actually cutting yourself on it.

However, that blade cover latches in place, and to unlatch it and slide it back in side you have to put a lot of pressure on it until it pops open. And the natural way to do it is to push your thumb down and into it, directly towards the blade underneath. It would be easy for it to pop and push your thumb right into the blade opening it the most natural / intuitive feeling way. So you've got to consciously open it with careful intention.

I know having to pay attention to something sharp is not a big ask, but when the "default" way of opening something is dangerous and it requires vigilance every single time... I just find myself always turning to other cutters instead. I have particularly strong risk aversions, so this may only be a concern to me. But for anyone like me, it pretty much ruins the product, and it could be addressed by some offset tabs or something which is a shame.

This was fine for like 6 months until it fell apart.

Held together by some cheap plastic or something.
