Damn, I'm so tempted by this... even before the RAM crisis this bundle would have been easily $1000 I'd guess... such a great price for top-shelf parts...

Not long ago, for 800 more you'd get a 5080 RTX computer with 9800x3D. Deal is good considering what has happened to RAM since then

Can someone explain to me how this is a $700 motherboard? Like, what's it do to justify that price? I'm pretty sure I'd be fine with a $200 motherboard.

That's some legit RAM right there. That would be lovely piece of kit to have w/ those timings.

I just looked back to a purchase I made just before the price hikes. Upgraded my son's system with a 9800X3D, 32GB ram, and MSI Carbon for $1050. This deal is 64GB and an Asus Hero mobo, which is always more. Whether if it is worth the premium pricing is a different story. So long story short, this is really a great deal in the current market, and a good deal even before the spike in prices.

The ASUS Crosshair Hero is an enthusiast mobo with all the over clocking features. For most it is overkill. But the price is roughly $250 more than the what I paid back in June for 32GB and a MSI Carbon mobo. This deal is for 64GB.
