I found this Maxcold Latitude 62 quart hard cooler ice chest cart with a telescoping handle at my Costco warehouse for an extra 30% off with a final price of $49.95.

The Costco version is an attractive light gray/black without the white band which reflects heat and has 6" x 2-1/2" all-terrain wheels. It's 62 instead of the 60 quarts sold elsewhere. Costco has flip side handles instead of hand holds on the sides and a premium finish. Best version of the Latitude imo.

Ace Hardware $80, U-Line $107. R.E.I. has the blue 60 qt on sale for $44

Why I like it: Small footprint loads easily to a hatchback, space efficiency. Maneuverability. Deep and roomy. Ideal for farmers market preventing crushed wilted produce and for Costco haul. Cube type coolers absorb less heat. Useful as a mobile cart and for storage. The handles, wheels and insulation have all received upgrades from the old Latitude.

$50 is the normal in-store price. This has been the standard price at Costco for years now. They get clearanced out every fall at a small discount and get restocked in the spring.

As a side note, 22" tall will not fit in some sedan trunks. There are many sedans that are in the 19-21" range.

Inflation-proof! Awesome! But no, this is new to Costco, date first sold January 23 , 2026. The old Latitude 62 was Item # 1654526, with the lid that fell off. Igloo says that they improved the insulation, the locking telescoping handle, the lid and the wheels.
R.E.I. is clearing out the old ones for $44 in funky blue but I quite like Costco's exclusive light grey.
