I don't but I have skipped over this offer with the 5-1/2" saw mny times in favor of the full 7-1/2" saw and finally able to getone from tools direct. I have no regrets getting the full size vs this 5" size.
For projects needing a smaller saw, I have a 3‐1/2" Dremel saw and it works great for those needs however it is rarely used.

I have an older one+ model and they are weak/slow compared to a corded 7 1/2 10A saw for anything thicker than 1/2"

It's very small, light, and easy to use compared to it's bigger brothers and has plenty of power to cut through a 2x4 or most sheet goods you'd typically use on a project. If you're having trouble with it bogging down, then go slower, cut straight so the blade doesn't get caught in the kerf, and make sure your blade is sharp.
