If you've got the P262, this is about 2" shorter and more than a pound lighter, which probably isn't a big deal unless you're using it a lot.
But if you've got the big high-torque, the weight and length difference is pretty significant.
Just wanted to add my experience today when I went to pick up one locally:
I was having trouble actually finding this impact in the store, so I chose to just order 'for pickup' while I was standing in the store. Obviously a few moments after I ordered, a lady came to pull the order.
When she unlocked the cage below to pull the free 2AH battery, I noticed it was a single clamshell style package and extremely dusty.. and just thought to check the date code in the battery; it was actually date coded 2023, which of course gave me a moment of pause.
I then noticed behind the clamshell batteries were 'newer' models that were set to replace the old ones as they sold the old ones out. I simply asked the lady to please let me get one of the 'new' models.
The new models were in a box instead of plastic clamshell… and the new ones were dated 2025.
Also, the new 'updated' model has one of the small chargers in the box with them. (The ones that just attach to the stem of the battery?
The replacement model is listed as PBP003A.
TLDR: Check the model of battery they give you and try and ask for one of the 'newer' models that are in a box, as it comes with a charger and seems to be a lot fresher.

I had to remove some rust welded bolts off of my car and it worked really well.

I've been using the 1/2" version from Ryobi (model number P262) for a year or so and use it all the time when working on my cars. Works great for lug nuts and suspension work, but a bit much for everything else.
