I also love them, I bought a few spares during their black friday sale and put them in the garage until I can find a spot to install them. So far I have over a dozen wyze cameras in and around my home and never one issue. Some for 4 years now. I am waiting for the palm lock to go on sale. $130 is a good price, but im not in a hurry for it.

Are OG ones compatible with Cam plus lite?

Looks like no - only v1-3 are. Just fyi if you're trying to avoid subs

They started out with so much promise and then just went straight to hell. I loved everything they were doing when they first came out and they seemed to have so much potential and then they just made a beeline to mediocrity.

That used to be true but now there are so many options at this price point. Laview, Tapo, Eufy, Blink etc

I have 2 of these. They work well but the mic on both have failed. I don't use the mic often but sometimes it's nice to hear what's happening

I generally like the Wyze cams, but DO NOT get this if you have to routinely look back through the SD card. It takes the camera forever to load up the footage when you have to skip forward or backward. It gets frustrating at times.

Other than that, it's a great cam. Cheap, good picture quality, siren, and built in light.

I feel like they spread themselves out to thin. Should have stuck cameras and maybe bulbs. Don't need scales or headphones ect.

Agreed on viewing from the SD card. It's a bug they refuse to fix. I replaced 2 OGs with V4s. Also, when I received sound alerts, I couldn't hear anything with the volume all the way up. The mics are screwed. These cameras are cheap for a reason. Buy any of them other than an OG.
