any idea if I can replace w/ a standard ATX PSU and put in a RTX 5070 in here?
Just to confirm the response you already got, HP uses a proprietary PSU for these types of small desktops unfortunately so no swapping in a normal ATX psu.
Keep in mind you might not even be able to change the CPU if you want to. I got another HP model with 5600G, and the motherboard in it only supports 5600G and 5700G.

Then this is not that different to a mini PC LOL
Ram $230, SSD $120, CPU $230, good deal
It requires modifying the connectors and adding a switch to turn the psu on separately before starting the PC. There are some good guides online.
