A few notes.

This was $41.99 on 1/31 with a clipped coupon on the product page.

On the product itself, the labels on the keys can be very hard to see in the dark because the whole keycap lights up. You can adjust how bright the lighting is though, and the software allows you to set up profiles with individual lighting per key. It looks pretty neat with your gaming keys lit up in one color with other keys in another.

It also has hot-swappable switches, and alternate key caps for some of the outer keys like shift, space, enter, etc. that do not let lighting pass through like the default keys do.

Yeah, I got the Xbox edition and the keys being unreadable defeats the point of a backlight for me. All style over substance. I like the keyboard otherwise but the backlight is basically useless and if anything, the keys are easier to read with it off. All I see is the mold of the key caps when it is on.

Completely agree. The keyboard looks awesome without the RGB on, but having completely transparent keycaps was a braindead decision. They should've had the entire top of the keycap colored and left the character on the keycap transparent so the light would shine through the key character and sides of the keycaps (similar to pudding keycaps).

FWIW, the side is magnetized so that it connects nicely with one of their separate numeric keypads. Don't have them in the same style, though.

This is mostly true for the rainbow mode on full brightness, while in most other modes it's fine (or not so bad). Admittedly, the rainbow mode on full brightness is coolest.

Slickdealer's internal monologue:

"I don't need anymore keyboards."
"I already have too many wireless mechanicals."
"Everyone thinks it looks gross, but I think it's sick."
