I bought this one for my wife to use at her work desk, ended up being a lot smaller than I thought it would be. It is only 8 in tall. if you are wanting something more compact is all, not oscillating and not as many fans pushing.

I bought this. Read the reviews and everyone said there was no smell during operation - man maybe I need to burn off all the deadly chemicals - it smelled terrible during operation - the whole room smelled bad. People were going to call in the fire department. I even started coughing from the noxious fumes. I'll keep using it - and hopefully the smell goes away.

Bought one of these during the last "sale." Performance (heat/low noise) is so much better than our 1500w Honeywell I can't believe it.

Just a general reminder that in addition to less safety features (no name brands don't have the anti tip mechanism that STOPS heaters from working if the button on the bottom is not pressed) - most no name brands will go ovre the stated wattage. Bought a no name small heater from woot last year - 1000w? Lol more like 1500w - tested by plugging into portable ecoflow battery and it eats power very quickly. Expectation is that this will be closer to 1800w when on high than 1500w . . .

Other than that all heaters are basically the same.

The reason it's using more power from your eco flow is because of your inverter's inefficiency. Is your inverter pure sine or modified?

Don't really want to go into electric debate, I know where you're going. Before my kill-a-watt died it showed the same thing for a heater that i got at costco too. Ramps up to 1800 but that was for a tower heater.

Correct. Different heaters vary by features, reliability, and how well you experience the heat. For example, fans spread out the heat, radiators change temperature more slowly, etc. Compare it to how a fire doesn't give off more heat when you get closer to it, but does feel hotter.

But I hope everyone understands that all electric heaters produce approximately the same amount of heat based on the wattage. If one 1500W heater can't heat up your room fast enough, replacing it with another 1500W heater can't either.

However, if the issue is that part of the room is too hot and the other is not hot enough, then the issue may be resolved by using a different heater. Alternatively, you could try adding a fan to help circulate the air, or changing to a pair of 750W heaters or 3 x 500W heaters in different parts of the room.

(Many heaters have 2 or 3 settings. Your 1500W heater might have toggle to go down to something like 1000W, 750W, or 500W. You might be able to use multiple existing heaters set to a lower setting. This way you can test out an idea before spending money on new hardware.)
