Why would anyone buy this when you can just use scrap wood? Even if you didn't have any or couldn't find it from the 100s of places around, Home Depot sells various scraps for up to 90% off.

For a sliding door, I just stuck a big wooden dowel in the track. I guess this is a good front door solution, though.
