Again with this nonsense?

it literally comes with a USB cable to charge, it works in any USB port. Why would you want a bi-directional or high current charger increasing the price and complexity for something that has not reason to use it?

It's not a smart phone. It's not a backup battery. It's an occasional use product easily replaceable by a match if it goes dead.
I've had mine for two months now, and I light a candle every single day with it.

I have yet to need to recharge it.

Great for gas stoves (home or camping). Look for one that has a hook hole for hanging or adding to a lanyard.

a lot of these cheap usb-c lighters don't support USB-PD, so you need a dumb charger to charge it

These lighters are awesome and so easy to use. I wish I would've gotten the flexible necks instead cuz that would've been much more useful/convenient than this.

How long do these hold a charge? We don't use lighters all that much except for birthday candles and the bbq in the summer. I'd probably forget to charge them for when I actually needed them.

They hold pretty good, I got mine last July, then I only used one for lighting my candles at night time. The other one still powered on after sitting in my cabinet for 6 months.

I just want it to work with whatever USB-C cables I already have plugged in. Lots of devices that are supposedly USB compatible don't charge on ports with PD and other fast charging standards.

Why is that so hard?

So wait this will only work with its own cord? Meaning I have to keep track of another cord. I know it sounds small but it's annoying enough to avoid.
