Description on Woot lists both IPX7 and IPX4. Seems to be IPX4 which has some water resistance but is NOT 'waterproof.'

Just as a general FYI: I got some "Philips" items a few months back that were very clearly just relabeled Aliexpress-tier junk, which I ended up returning. I had previously had the impression that Philips was one of the few remaining "premium" companies who don't license their brand name out to make a quick buck, but that doesn't appear to be the case anymore. So, no direct experience but I wouldn't expect this to somehow be nicer or better-designed than any other $10 speaker.

It's been like that probably over 10 years. Philips is just more chinese junk now
