This was $35 PS5 physical Dec. 11-21, 2025 at Gamestop. This might be a buy for someone itching to play it, but I see the price trending down.

To be fair this is slick deals and $5 might not be a huge difference but it is worth mentioning as physical games can reach lower price points quicker than digital.

I'm fully aware of how much cheaper physical can be. However, this game is not trending downward. It was cheaper than this exactly one time. That's not a trend. Even hitting this price is rare. At absolute best, it might be $30 by the end of the year. Waiting that long to save $5-$10 is comical. This site/app is full of the cheapest people on the planet. You'll always make more money, and never miss the few extra dollars you spend. Let's say this drops to $25 (theres a 0% chance of that). No one will care that they got this for that price in a year.

Trend (noun): A general tendency or course of events
It has dropped in price 5 times since 1/16. If there is a generally accepted time frame that constitutes all trends, I am unaware of that.
I understand you disagree on the value of $5, but price history is still important. Speculation is often based on that information.

This game (which I personally think is easily worth $40) has dropped 40-50% twice since its release in September.

As with all things consumer, if someone ones wants to buy it, they should buy it at whatever price they feel is worth it.

That's the only silent hill game I haven't finished. I tried to push through but that's just not it. It's just a money grab.
