I repair watches. Agreed. At the retail level we charge $120 for a new capacitor installed. Considering you paid $150 for it is great.

Citizen has some good deals and is constantly one of my top pics for someone who wants a watch that don't have to worry with. I have some personal ones over 15 years old that are still going.

Don't be a watch snob. Everyone has a budget and the appreciation of it comes from the looks and movement and not always the trendiness or price tag. iPhones and Rolexes were cool 20 years ago and your pretentiousness has never been cool.

Jomashop is often what is considered a "gray market" retailer. Authentic products but don't typically come with manufacturer warranty.

I have purchased from them before without issue and also returned things within their 30 day policy. Also, no issues.

That being said, this seems like a crazy good deal for a titanium watch with sapphire crystal and eco drive. Albeit, it's hideous IMO 😂

Yes, definitely gray-market, but still new watches with a 5 year warranty from JomaShop. I've never needed the warranty on a Citizen……..Breitling though is another story.
And yes this is a smoking deal……less than used prices on eBay.

I agree that Jomashop is a gray market dealer. But the products appear to be authentic. I bought a Seiko Kinetic dive watch from them about 12 years ago. The capacitor is failing to charge now (a common problem - they only last about 10 years). But I have loved the watch. It has a sapphire crystal, and I paid $150 for a watch that had MSRP of $650. Finding a well-known watch brand selling a watch with a sapphire crystal at about $150 is nearly impossible, but here is a Citizen at $167. That's a great deal for this watch.

I wish Citizen did some watches at 40mm.

I'd say yes. It's built like a tank and it's a citizen so it'll last. I have 3 bullheads from the 60's. Still running within 10 secs a day! Not bad for 60 years old. This is a dangerous hobby though. I have 400+ watches. Everything from new Hamiltons and microbrands to vintage HMT's and Darwils. Good fun.

6.5" wrist here so 42mm is really my limit unless the L2L is <48mm and has curved end links or can be converted to a strap or nato.

Also, many people can't pull off 43mm case diameter.

Bought quite a few watches from Jomashop over the years. Citizen Eco-Drives and Casio G-Shocks. Top notch retailer. This watch isn't a great look though.
