This is the same basic model that has been Wirecutter's recommended humidifier for quite some time except the Costco version comes with a remote.

I own it and it is great... easier to refill than other models I've used because the reservoir fills from the top and comes with a carrying handle built in.

The only difference I can find is that this one comes with a physical remote. I can't imagine actually using the remote personally but that's the only difference I can see.

I should have bought a cool/warm humidifier.. when I was coughing, breathing in the cold mist made me cough even more.
Maybe I should get this based on comments.

This is a great humidifier, I got one last year and it's been great and integrate nicely with home assistant. Getting another for my indoor plants
