Thanks for taking the time to review and talk about our product — we really appreciate you featuring pelsee in your video.
We want to be transparent: some of our current models use up scaling to achieve 4K output, which is common in the market today. That said, starting in 2026, pelsee will be gradually upgrading our product lineup to true native 4K dash cams, introducing higher-end image sensors and processors over time to deliver real 4K capture — not just resolution labels.
We appreciate honest discussions like this and will continue to improve our products based on real feedback and testing.
Community Reviews
This Pelsee P1 Pro stands out as a budget front and rear dash cam with strong day and night front footage, readable plates, GPS tracking, lane departure alerts, and parking surveillance support. The included hardwire kit can make for a cleaner fuse box install, and the seller has replaced faulty units and sent out replacement rear cables quickly. The main concern is that the advertised 4K appears to be upscaled from IMX675 sensors rather than true native 4K, so storage use and image detail are worth weighing. A solid feature set if you are comfortable with the camera's resolution tradeoff.

Really? What's the point of upscaling to 4K? Just wasting storage and CPU.
