In work I used the older 3 gallon one many times a week but I was interested in this bucket one because the 3 gallon fills up pretty fast when I'm sucking up water and mud so I'm going to give this a try the good price Maybe get two

Home Depot would hate me, but I'd put this on top of a Lowe's or Costco bucket for sure.

The Home Depot buckets SUCK because they use an inferior blend of plastic that turns brittle with exposure to the UV radiation in sunlight. HD buckets splinter into dust after a couple years in the sun but Lowes and Costco ones hold up just fine.

If I purchase this then I'll have to buy a bucket. Don't know if it would still be worth it with the price of buckets nowadays.
You can get 3 buckets for $9 at Costco.

If you are using anything wet vac for dust collection, not only do I suggest using a secondary Venturi type in line system but also using bags inside the wet vac.

That's a good idea about the liner. I end up doing either one or the other and either leaving the filter in (for dust) or take it out (for wet). Ideally I would just have two dedicated shop vacs.
