Home Depot needs to update their description. Blaster Dry Lube no longer contains Teflon.

It's Teflon aka forever chemical. Once it gets into your body, the only way it's coming out is if you're bleeding. This thing sprays out of an aerosol can. It will get into your lungs if you're not wearing a mask.

this or lithium grease? i have this wheel on a stick vacuum that is constantly getting stuck and no good way to pop it out. i've tried all different lubricants and they work temporarily then the wheel feels hard to move again. any suggestions wb great!

No this isn't a good choice for bike chains. Will it work OK for a while? Yes, but any lube actually designed and marketed for bike chains will be more effective and stay on longer than this will.

Is the wheel on a metal bearing or plastic sleeve and is the bearing/rotation point plastic, brass, steel, sintered copper, nylon, or other material? Do you need to lube just the bearing or any surrounding areas the wheel touches or binds on, and what materials are those contact points? Where is it located? Can you use a toothpick to spread some Lucas Red & Tacky grease directly on the bearing (if it is a metal bearing) or can you only reach it with the little tube these spray cans have? Depending on all the variables, you might need dry lube, graphite lube, silicone lube, teflon lube, lithium grease, 3-in-1 Oil, or maybe even something else.

would this be good for bicycle chains?
No, it washes away with water. I use it to remove sawdust and dirt but it will not remove grease nor replace it. You want a lithium grease spray instead for long term chain health.

Lithium will attract dirt. I'd use a dry lube for the wheel, probably something with graphite. If there's any o-rings in there, those sometimes react to lithium, so silicone is also a better bet.

Fine for a bike chain if you only ride it in dry conditions, but you really aren't gaining anything by getting a spray can vs a drip bottle as the spray can is going to be more air than lubricant for the price. You only want to use a spray for things like freeing up old shifters that are gummed up.

Thanks for the suggestions - it is a rubber wheel, covering a plastic sleeve, wrapped around a tiny metal rod which keeps the whole wheel in place (will try to take a pic and upload if I can). I've tried different household lubricants including a dry lube and super lube. Graphite lube sounds interesting - havent tried that. Any other thoughts sb appreaciated!
