You sure? I just set up a 2021 4k max for my nephew using kodi and downloader

And my 2023 4k cube still working right now.

This is not true. I decided a whole bunch of third party apps on my fire Stick today. They did block a couple known ones that were said to be violating TOS over piracy or whatever and that's problematic. But everything else can still be sideloaded. Kodi, new pipe...the entire f-droid store. Smarttube, send tv to phone etc.

It still works for me. There was a few but apps that were blocked by Amazon because of some TOS violations but 99.9% of apps are still side loading fine. It is a little nerve-wracking that they started cracking down but as it stands right now you can side load smart tube and all the other goodies. I have entire third party app stores online that I just installed.

Right because it runs Vega OS but this one runs Android OS. And you can still run third party apps although a couple of them were banned earlier this year or later last year which is why some people are confused.

But yes on the Android version of the fire Stick not the select version you can still side load apps. Kodi, smart tube, whatever's

I don't think you're correct. I was able to put it on my old fire stick, but my VPN couldn't be loaded to it. The select fire stick is the one I believe can't be side loaded.

Just buy a Vseebox and forget about fire sticks. Gives you every movie and show on demand, plus pretty much every live US channel including all premium sports channels
