The Galaxy S25 FE comes across as a premium, well built Android phone with smooth performance, strong battery life, and seven years of software support. It is described as a solid step up from older FE models, with a slightly larger feel and better day to day speed. The main knocks are the 128GB storage ceiling and 18W charging, which may feel limiting as apps and photos pile up. It also seems priced better when open box or carrier deals drop it well below the listed price.
Android switchers wanting a premium-feeling daily driver, because it feels well built, runs smoothly, and gets seven years of support.
Yes, the 7 years of support is a major selling point, especially if you are upgrading from older FE models stuck on much older Android versions. It is also reported to feel premium and run smoothly, with some owners saying it has been flawless after a couple of months.
128GB can feel tight because the OS takes a large chunk up front, and storage can fill quickly with apps, photos, and videos. If you keep lots of media locally or dislike cloud storage, a larger-capacity phone may be a better fit.
Yes. Best Buy open-box "excellent" units were reported as low as $359, and one shopper noted prices vary by color and have since gone up. That makes it worth checking other buying options before paying the full $449.99.
The phone's 18W charging is a compromise and slower than many higher-end phones. If fast top-ups matter, that is a practical downside to weigh against the price and features.
Yes, it can work with a lapdock like a NexDock on compatible phones such as the S25 line. That makes it a possible lightweight alternative for people who want a phone-to-desktop workflow.
I'm not sure about exynos 2400 but once i went with 12gb ram i can't go back to 8.
I have the S24 FE and it's a beast. Buttery smooth and long battery life. Picked one of these up to replace my wife's terrible Pixel 7 Pro that has screen delamination and Google's updated firmware broke the camera autofocus.

All phones are buttery smooth when new out of the box and debloated. But gradually they all slow down when storage fills up with apps pics videos.

I can't go back to such low storage. Especially when ootb the os takes up half of it. Ok so I don't know much is usable but I do know my 128gb Note 20Ultra ran out of space frequently enough for me to upgrade, even with a 512mb sd card. I'm holding out on ANY phone upgrades because I'm pissed about being forced into a 1tb phone. Everything needs it's own app now. I will NOT do cloud storage for anything important. It's forced compliance and I won't play their game. I currently have a 512mg Note 20U with a 512mb sd card. I'll nurse it through as long as possible! Even it has used half its storage already.

You are not going to like the next step in cellphones (hope it fails) cellphone as a service. You pay for a cheap piece of glass with minimum hardware then connect to your cloud phone. They will sell it as being able to pick the phone size when you need and the ability to share the glass. For example you are doing a work trip and need a large screen, take the 6.5 inch phone. Going away for weekend and you don't really need your phone grab the 3.5". Wanna watch some movies log on to your phone on your TV. You are already paying a monthly subscribed to the cell service, what's an extra 10 bucks a month and they throw in the 3.5" for free. (They will subsidies the early odopters and raise the price, see Netflix) Netflix used to cost 7.99 a month.
Then go to other buying options. I snagged an open box excellent for $359, but they are higher now. Check all the colors as they are different priced open box.

I used Samsung Galaxys years ago then the wife convinced me to go Apple over the past 5 years. Decided to go back with Android, got the Pixel 9a for $350 from BB and couldn't be happier.

Android switchers wanting a premium-feeling daily driver, because it feels well built, runs smoothly, and gets seven years of support.
Heavy app and media hoarders who need lots of local storage, because 128GB can fill quickly once the operating system and files take space.
People replacing an older FE phone for a longer upgrade cycle, because the newer model stays flawless and extends software support beyond Android 13.
Users who want a compact Android with DeX-style desktop use, because it can connect to a lapdock and Samsung's desktop mode is well optimized.
People who keep years of photos, videos, and apps on-device, because 128GB can run out quickly as storage fills.
Shoppers who want a smaller handset, because this model is described as larger than the previous FE and wished to be closer to the S25 size.
Power users who expect fast charging, because the 18W charging speed is a compromise.
Mobile gamers or multitaskers who want 12GB RAM, because 8GB feels like a downgrade once you have used more memory.
