This would be a good deal if it was actually the heated jacket and not the less expensive hoodie which makes this just about an average price

I love the quality. The only problem is the heating element messes with my heart

$100 with battery kit, $60 without. Seems like a good bit below average price. Still I don't think I like the design of the round battery in your pocket.

Got the jacket a couple years ago on a slick deal and have loved it since day one. In for a hoodie as well! Thanks OP!

I have this and you don't want this! You want a heated vest! Sized down if you can comfortably! Any jacket over it! The heat is closer to the body, the jacket will trap the heat in and the vest will operate more efficiently. You will feel the heat at lower setting. I don't have the Milwaukee vest, I bought the Costco version. It was much cheaper than the Milwaukee version with a flat battery pack which was more comfortable and natural than the those round m12 batteries. Milwaukee does sell a flat battery but it's an extra $100.

Does it really heat up more than the old one?

These are weak quality. There are better heated coats for less money that will have an element in the hood and or pockets as well.
The Milwaukee name is not enough to make these a good choice of your $100. The hoodie without the battery is worth about $30 . Again for 30 to 100 you have a lot of options. The battery bulk alone will drive you crazy with the hoodie. The hoodie material on these are just a Meh. The Toughshell stuff is nice, but these here are a hard pass.

I have the large size hoodie. it is large for my body shape but the medium size had short length and arms. if it is not tight on your torso than you do not feel much warm.

You have this but you don't? Not comparing apples to oranges. Ugh
