I connect this to my Samsung phone via the USB-C adapter included on the receiver and it works with the native camera app. The notification flashes up when starting recording that it is "using bluetooth for audio" and it records no problem.

Then it looks like mine is not working right. I also connect the same way as you to a Galaxy Tab A9+, but it only records with built-in mic. Mic RX light on mine keeps blinking after connecting to the tab. I believe it's supposed to be solid green. Could you check behavior of yours?

It wont work with most camera apps standard unfortuantely in bluettoh mode if that is what you are trying to do, however it should work just fine when connecting directly to usb. If you have the black magic app you could use it in bluettoh mode and change it.

Yeah, no it doesn't work when RX is connected via USB C. When I contacted DJI support, their response was that they haven't tested this on the devices I'm using. I tried this on a Galaxy Tab A9+, Pixel 9 Pro and a Moto G Stylus! They couldn't confirm any of this devices 😅

Update: I returned the original set and got another from BB (same price) and they worked right out of the box.

Solid deal, but if you're not tied into the DJI ecosystem, I've been blown away by the smallrig s70 mics that just came out. First of these I've seen with a design that doesn't put a logo facing forward. These sound great but they're hard to hide

The hollyland Lark M2S were (maybe still are) on woot for $55. That's the current set I've been using for the last three months, daily. They're discreet by design, and the quality is quite good given their size. Other than not being able to hold a cache of your recording (if your phone or computer dies, so does the recording), they've held their own.

I use them with my s24u using the native voice recorder app. Worth a look if you don't need integration with the DJI ecosystem.

Will this work with a speaker system? We've got 1/4 inch input plug but also Bluetooth.

Did you make sure that the microphone is connected to the receiver? Hold the link button on the receiver, and then hold it on the microphone. They should then both become solid as they are connected. Now, when you connect the receiver to the phone, they should still say solid without flashing. But that just solve the connection problem in your Camera app or device you need to make sure you change the recording device from the built-in microphone to the one connected via USB-C. I don't have a Samsung phone, but I'm sure you can find a YouTube video on how to do that.
