Only 60hz refresh but that's probably good enough for 90% of the population. The $329 for 55" seems like the sweet spot as far as bargains go. Almost wish I was in the market to replace my 55" bedroom tv

I use these 55's for triples in a sim rig and they are FANTASTIC for the money. There is nothing else on the market that even comes close. Triple 55" mini-LED 1440p 144hz for $1000? Impossible to even get close to this price!

They are excellent in SDR gaming/tv. I use a QM7 for HDR movies/gaming. I've been using the QM5K's for 6 months now and no issues to report.

Totally agree. My local BB had couple 55" open box for $270, even. The sales associate said nothing was wrong with them, just customer returns that didn't like the sets. They mark them down as "open box - good" to move them quickly. Anyway, I was eyeing this set, but ended up going with the 55" QM6K from Costco for $450 since it comes with the 5 year warranty and I was getting 2 sets that qualified for the buy more save more additional $100 off.

Apparently this whole line has an unresolved bug with HDR being too dim and audio is significantly out of sync with the video when using any sort of external sound (optical, eARC, etc). Hard pass.

I just got the QM7 and had audio issues and other bugs, had to download a firmware update and install from usb drive now it's great, amazing TV for the money. I have not seen the QM5, but believe it or not the QM7 does not make me miss my OLED LG C35 especially for the money.

Thanks for posting this, a lot of interesting comments. I went through the thread, never going to use game mode and the tv/movie mode HDR is fine, but this might be impactful for a gamer. No audio delay here but I'm not sending audio out from the TV.

how far do you have to sit, your seat, from the triple 55" rig ? normal TV viewing distance ?
