Again, I'm new to the 3D printing world, it seems that most general use 'projects' use PLA or PETG - is that fairly accurate? I have been using PLA since I started and am looking to expand my materials with these bulk spool buys. I recently bought a spool of TPU 95A and some glow filament as well.

Petg has negatives as well...
It needs to be dried out to print properly if you're in a damp or humid environment.
It tends to string a little bit more than PLA.
It tends to be more shiny, and some of the Matte PETGs are not as strong.
You have to print it at slower speeds.
PETG is probably superior if none of the issues are a deal breaker for your current printing project.

PLA+ prints as nice as PLA and still pretty durable, usually doesn't cost much more. PETG is useful for a lot of things but PLA+ works pretty well too.

These silk filaments are nice and decorative but they tend to be very weak. So I wouldn't recommend them for things which need more strength / durability.
