Is the upgraded doorbell version, Comes with a chime, even bigger battery. More ai feature, thief dectector. Better sensor color night view etc.
if you buy the one ops posted, you cannot buy a standard alone chime. Will have to fork another $20 buying the smart hub which also has a speaker and can be use has a chime.

I prefer the tapo cameras at this point over something like nest or wyze. Local SD recording and on board smart detection that doesn't require a subscription. I've been slowly swapping my home cameras to them because of it.

Ordered both wireless and wired versions. Returned wireless as the wired detection speed is much better!

I have this. Also this isn't special price it was 35 on black Friday as well. But still worth it.

Works great. Can record weeks on my SD card and check in on my Amazon packages while at work. Would recommend.

Wyze lets you use a wyze cam as a chime for when the door bell rings. Wonder of tapo lets you use a tapo cam as a chime??

Have a different Tapo camera. FYI, without a subscription, the phone alert/notifications don't show a thumbnail.

How did you set that up? People have been asking for that for years, and even this thread as recent as this past week, shows thumbnails in notifications are still not available without subscription — https://community.tp-link.com/en/...ASC&page=6

Bought this one to use with one of my entrances. The image is pretty grainy, especially at night. Battery life died in less than 3 months.

Integration with home assistant seems to make it drain faster.

Get it if you need a budget doorbell camera, but I don't recommend it if you're street facing or in an area with low light.

Not ONVIF particularly, but RTSP with VBR only.

Thank you..I do have the VIGI-NVR4032H that is basically TP-LINK brand. I think I read on TP-LINK website the d235 wired model offers onvif.
