Seems these are the knock off of the Govee. Amazon review said theirs failed after a short time, but got a full refund. Seems like a lot of work to install these just to take them back down again.

Most likely the LED driver/controller failed which is easy to replace. Unlikely that the entire string of LEDs would fail.
These low end fly by night company's aren't making replacement controllers. Not even Govee is willing to sell you a replacement controller
Nearly all of them would be compatible with WLED. You just need to figure out what type LED module they are using. I'm in process of switching my Chinese led lights to WLED.
