On Chapter 19. Wondering if the book gets better. Maybe it's me but I'm finding it somewhat interesting but also depressing so far. Any comments?

Didn't read it myself but fiancee also hit a lull in the middle, then absolutely steamrolled through the back half and loved it

Got a little uneasy a few chapters in after randomly grabbing this off of the Audible recommendations. That's when I did the digging and realized this was a whole "started out as fanfic" situation and the themes are for a specific crowd. Good thing for a decent refund policy.

Ah, so this is the reworked Manacled. For anyone not familiar, Manacled is Hermione and Malfoy after Voldemort wins the war. It is really dark, but good! Thanks OP!
