Different item - renewed premium comes with 365 days refund/replacement
comment from that thread
I bought one of these two weeks ago but it was "Renewed Premium" for about $50 more. Do not recommend. The watch arrived scratched all over with an aftermarket charger. It will take a couple hours to update it to OS 26 before you can use it. After the update, the battery health was at ~80% and not the >90% as advertised.I did returned it but unlike other Amazon returns, you will not get your money back until after they receive and inspect the item, which can be up to 30 days. Others seem to have better luck with Amazon Renewed but this will be the last time I purchase refurb electronics from them. It's not worth the risk and the hassle.

it feels like all slickdeals staff wants is to drive engagement without it really being a deal or even being a quality product - just keep posting seems to be the mantra. I so wish sd would go back to its old days

From the same thread:
I bought this watch yesterday. I highly recommend it. It came with no scratches or dents. I was able to add it to my AT&T account. The Apple Store is currently selling it refurbished for $589. I bought it from Amazon for $427.61. That's a significant savings.

If i cannot know reliably, why would I buy such an expensive item? ill go buy from swappa where all info including battery health are listed
Yall just post the same thing every month. Im following one item and can clearly see a pattern. All you want is engagement
If you are so sure, just mark deals posted by SD staff in a way people can see, like sponsored posts

I believe with renewed premium you have whole year to test and return/replace if something is wrong. I've just checked some listings on swappa for this watch and looks like most of them do not give you a full year of warranty.
