In case you're not familiar with the Infineon chipset with digital MOSFET.
The Infineon IR4322 is a high-performance, 2-channel integrated Class D audio amplifier chipset designed to deliver high-quality sound with minimal heat, often utilized in compact, high-efficiency audio applications. It is frequently highlighted as a core, premium component in specialized audio equipment, such as the Fosi Audio CA30 car amplifier.
SPECS:
Design: Integrated 2-channel analog input Class D audio amplifier in a small 7x7 mm PQFN44 package.
Performance: Capable of delivering up to 100W x 2 output.
Efficiency: High-efficiency design (around 88%) that often allows for operation without a mechanical heatsink in typical music playback, reducing system size.
Protection Features: Integrated self-resetting protection for overcurrent, over-temperature, and under-voltage.
Audio Quality: Designed for low distortion and high-fidelity sound, featuring clip and fault reporting.
Car Audio: Used in compact 4-channel amplifiers to provide high-power, low-distortion sound.
Home Audio: Suitable for home theater systems, powered speakers, and docking stations.
The IR4322 is part of a family (including the IR4321) that integrates a PWM controller and digital audio MOSFETs to achieve a high power-to-size ratio.

I've been wanting to upgrade the audio in my FJ Cruiser, so I grabbed this but not sure if I need 2, one for the regular speakers and another one for the sub. My FJ came with a stock sub that really sucks and I read the say they amp for the sub is dual wired so most recommended upgrades calls for ditching the stock amp and sub. Any advice would help, thanks in advance.

If you're talking about a true old school Zapco with a class AB amp design it won't hold a candle to modern car audio amplifiers. It genuinely shocking how efficient they are when you look back at Alpine and Rockford amps you could cook an egg on at max power.

Tripath completely changed the game in the early 2000's with their "Class T" chips. Texas Instruments introduced a competing technology shortly after and they're in almost everything now, including both desktop and this Fosi amp.

Good for consumers, honestly.
They're just cheaply made now, but other than that, I agree.

I know essentially nothing about this but I know the sound in my car sucks. Would this be a good upgrade to the subpar sound on a 2023 BMW 330i?

Not really. Unless you want to go down a deep rabbit hole and do the work yourself. A lot of shops won't install stuff they don't sell. To make it better you are going to need speakers, a DSP and a sub and amp.

Back on topic, I'm lost as to why this is a deal, so many other amps from makers in the car audio space for similar prices. Taramps is a popular budget option...

I believe it hit 96 watts x 4. So definitely truth in advertising. I've definitely seen Williston's test go the other way.

I don't need all of this; would be happy with something smaller that was in 50Wx4 realm. Something that only needs a 30amp fuse. This is too much current draw for most vehicles unless you do some upgrades.

This would be a perfectly good choice. Run the front doors off two channels and a sub bridged off the other two. Back doors don't matter.

Yeah, as the other guy was saying - the rears don't matter. Plus if your FJ is like mine, it has really small speakers in the back up high next to the rear window (I believe they're only 4 in hers or something like that). If yours are like that, powering them off of the head unit is just fine.
