Dreadmyst is an online fantasy MMORPG running on its own engine. Customize your stats and abilities as you slaughter the aberrations plaguing a cursed land. Choose from four playable classes, level up, farm gear, run dungeons (PvE), and fight other players (PvP). Tab target combat.
The developer of Dreadmyst, operating under the @DreadmystOnline
X account, has consistently described the game as completely free-to-play with no monetization whatsoever.
NOTE: There was some drama that got this game de-listed from Steam.. long story short, the dev bought art assets from a dealer that were stolen, game was de-listed for a while.
Game resolved its brief January 2026 Steam delisting caused by unlicensed Aion assets by replacing them—prompting NCSoft's approval for restoration on February 5-6—and remains active with ~1,700 concurrent players, Mostly Positive reviews (76%), and ongoing updates as of February 9, 2026.
