Now lets say you had a Google Pixel 9 pro, and you turn it in for the 10 pro. They will value the trade in let say 500 bucks and give you that back plus another 300.
Now instead if you kept the 9 pro and turned in a crappy old phone worth zero , you still get 800 back. The new 10 pro and you keep your 9 pro.
Meaning...its stupid to trade in your fairly new phone.
I still have some old flip phones like the motorola razor.

But I've found it's way faster to just order it in person. Take like 10 mins, but on the phone you are put on hold, they try to upsell you like crazy, etc etc.
Last time I ordered through the phone it took about 45 mins.

The first rep wasn't aware of the promo and only mentioned the standard $500 discount and an add-a-line offer.
I then spoke with a second rep at the same location — he initially didn't believe the promo existed. I showed him the offer in my T-Life app. After reviewing the terms, he said my Magenta plan doesn't qualify and that I would need to switch to a qualifying plan (Experience Beyond / Experience More) to receive the $799.99 promo.
So I left empty-handed. YMMV.
