This ACEMAGIC E3B mini PC stands out mainly as a low cost way to get 32GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD, with the 7430U viewed as an older Ryzen 5 5625U class chip rather than a newer upgrade. The 32GB configuration gets praise as a strong value, and the 16GB version is described as working well, quiet, and well put together. The main concerns are brand reliability and reports of factory malware or spyware, along with the feeling that the money is better spent on newer alternatives. It looks appealing on paper, but the draw is mostly the memory and storage.

  • people shopping specifically for a mini PC with 32GB RAM because they want a strong value on memory and storage, since commenters said it was one of the best mini PC deals they'd seen recently for getting 32GB (even though it's DDR4).

    lonelytango

  • astrophotography users who want a quiet remote PC, because one commenter said they use the 16GB version of this exact mini PC for astrophotography as a remote PC, found it fairly quiet, and reported no malware after checking.

    gabebalazs

  • buyers who are comfortable treating the purchase as mainly about the included RAM and SSD, because one commenter said it's "worth it only for the RAM and SSD."

    KaiTheNinja

  • buyers who want dependable, low-risk hardware from a brand with a clean security history, because multiple commenters warned that ACEMAGIC/related mini PCs have been found with pre-installed malware/spyware and that it's not worth the risk.

    glitter-princessglitter-princessglitter-princess

  • people comparing this deal against newer AMD mini PCs who care about CPU generation and graphics, because commenters argued the Ryzen 5 7430U is essentially the same as an older Ryzen 5 5625U and that a similarly priced WVX 6600H with newer Zen 3.5 and better graphics is a better option.

    ghostfrecklePurpleWren4225

  • buyers who are sensitive to final landed cost and don't want surprises, because commenters noted that if it ships from AliExpress it may be subject to tariffs or import tax that could change the real price.

Kamrui and Acemagic minis aren't known for dependability and the E3B 7430U is based on an older recycled design. For basically the same price you can get a WVX 6600H with the next generation Zen 3.5 processor/better graphics and 32GB of DDR5 memory.

The AMD Ryzen 5 7430U... ... is identical to the old AMD Ryzen 5 5625U, from 2022.

Link? I don't see pricing close to this price even with 16GB of RAM. Maybe that was true a couple of months ago but not since RAM prices have gone up.

Probably best one I've seen in a while for 32GB. Although it's DDR4 but it's fine. In for 1. Thanks!

If this was at Amazon, I'd be tempted, but I imagine this is subject to tariffs or import tax when shipped from AliExpress, right?

I use the 16GB version of this exact same mini PC. Works great, put together well and fairly quiet. I use it for astrophotography as a remote PC.
I also saw this deal on Aliexpress and thought it was a good deal for the 32GB version, especially if you use a popular cash back site as well.

EDIT: regarding the malware, supposedly that stopped about a year ago. I also checked mine and there was none on it.

I highly recommend not buying this brand. It has been found to contain pre-installed malware. TLDR: a tech guy on YouTube found malware on his acemagic mini PC. He contacted the manufacturer who claims they no longer do it. There's more than one instance of malware being found on this brand's products. Not worth the risk imo.

For anyone curious, just google Kamrui or Acemagic + reliability issues. There are a ton of results from people saying their computers broke/stopped working/came with malware.

Acemagic, Kamrui, and several other brands are known for putting spyware/malware on their PCs.

it's unfortunate because the specs look so good on paper. Cheap mini PCs have absolutely flooded the market, especially on sites like Amazon. It angers me that these sites continue to carry these products, despite the clear evidence that they are poorly made and have malware/spyware/rootkits from the factory. It cons people into thinking it's a fantastic deal when it really isn't. I am also seeing multiple accounts of people saying negative reviews are being removed from Amazon, and I'm sure other places too. You absolutely cannot trust the reviews on AliExpress either. This company used to be called ACEMAGICIAN.
