I have the Windfield 2 Fashion Set. Bought it 7 years ago for the same price, it withstood 3 international flights and 3 domestic flights pretty well, just minor exterior scratches. Everything still functions (wheels, zipper, locks, etc). I'd recommend this set.

Assume the Winfield sets will require additional baggage fees on international flights as the large dimensions exceed 62 linear inches

I have the Winfield 2 set. Has survived alot of international flights. Still working great, but has some scratches. Polycarbonate really is awesome. The large bag is over the 62 in limit, but I've never had an airline say anything or charge extra. Still, be aware. Would recommend. Just ordered the Carbon X set right now because their large bag is supposedly within the 62in limit and pretty light. Lets see how it holds up later this year.

never had any issues, there is an expander zipper on all three suitcases, so you can make them smaller if need be

Can't remember if I was reading reviews on the Samsonite site or on Amazon but I remember seeing someone say they bought a newer set of one of the Winfield's I think and that the newer set seemed to be of lower quality compared to the same set they had from before (maybe bought 5 or 6 years prior). That being said that probably goes for most things made these daysFrown

I've been keeping my eye on luggage deals as I'm looking for a (3) piece Polycarbonate set for around $200 or less. I'm waiting for this set to hopefully go on sale again at Costco but it seems like a great deal even at $200.00
