FYI these are supposedly great units, but the marketing is BS. These do not do split phase units you buy TWO and link them together. Otherwise they are just 120V.

You are WRONG. The old model is need 2 link together to make split phase like you said. But this model is NEW, and it is SPLIT PHASE. You could see the inside of this model in this youtube video below.
