I bought this from Amazon (seller = Beach Camera) during the holidays for $636. FYI - the box is humungous because they used a crazy amount of foaming on each side, top, bottom, etc. They delivered using this large U-haul looking van/truck. I've bought four 55" tv's in the past and the box for this is similar to a 65" tv (so if you plan on buying this from a brick and mortar store, it won't fit in your sedan). To ensure my tv wouldn't get stolen while at work, my original plan was to ship it to my workplace, and then put it in my Honda Accord (which I've transported many 55" tv's in-box in the past). Luckily I didn't do that.

I bought a Samsung Frame 55" because I needed the thinnest tv possible with the Smartconnect box hidden in a nook behind the tv. I hate the picture quality though; it is nowhere near the LG OLED tv's I use in other rooms. Also more expensive than this oled.
Did I make a mistake? My OLEDs are pretty thin the top but the guts are at the bottom and make the tv stick out 2". How far out does this Panasonic stick out?

This is 2.7 inches thick it says. The Samsung S95F uses the same mounting and box as the Frame, with 0.4 thickness. It costs a lot more though.

Bought one last summer for $700 to use in our greatroom. No regrets. Sound from the speakers is pretty good too; I've stopped using the soundbar I had for my old TV.

Thanks. I was completely unaware that they made an OLED with the Smartconnect box. Dang it.

Both Samsung and LG does too with a wireless box. Wonder how well the wireless works.

I bought this TV from the same buyer, BuyDig on EBay. I was pretty nervous since I never heard of the seller, but the TV arrived safe and sound.

Excellent picture, has two HDMI 2.1 ports for my XBox SeriesX and PS 5. FireTV OS is way better than the Samsung OS that I have to deal with on my main TV. This deal did sell out in a day when it was up last time.
