Kind of curious as to whether anyone has bought this? If so, how useful do you find it?

Shows frequently returned, so it doesn't seem like a very good item.

Got this on sale two weeks ago. It holds my iPad securely and rotates smoothly with click stops. I only wish it were slightly taller.

I bought this a couple of weeks ago when it was posted. It's made of metal and has Alan screws at each pivot point that you can tighten for either a fixed position or loosen for it to move with a little tension. The swivel option is a good feature. It clicks as you swivel and doesn't move around freely. It's heavy for a small stand and maybe not travel friendly, but that depends on how heavy you prefer your bag to be when traveling. Overall, really nice addition to a desk, kitchen counter, nightstand, work bench.
