If you select the coupon for $6.99 Medium 2 toppings pizza and select any speciality pizza, it's $3 extra. Making it $9.99

Definitely NOT the same deal.
For this 50% off deal, for example, a LARGE Pacfic Veggie Pizza is $11. For your deal, you cannot add $1 to upgrade to Large.

It seems you are getting more toppings but you are not really getting more on a pizza.

This is not a good deal.
I agree. Their best deal is when it's 50% off any pizza. I get a 1-topping for ~$6.50 or something like that. The $7 for a large 2-topping is fine, but the chicken and philly steak cost extra, ruining the deal for me. The more toppings you get, the less of each one they put on. So you're getting more variety, but not more volume. I don't think that's worth it.

The funny thing is you can just remove what you don't want and add what you want and its still 50% off. It's basically a 50% off coupon

Ends up being $11.25 for each 8 topping large pizza with extra cheese and extra tomato sauce where I live. Simply pick large extravaganza pizza, remove toppings you don't want and add the toppings you do want.
