If possible, I would wait and see if the Open Box 128GB onn 12.1" Octa-Core Pro Wi-Fi Tablet (2024 Model, Grey) to go back on sale for $96. 6gb RAM snappy and bright. Extremely pleased with it, but would caution on the 4gb ram that is included in this deal.

Yeah, they're saying that the CPU on the 12.1 version (the G99) is significantly faster than the 685 on the 11" version.

G99 = SD695 in speed.

I bought this tablet in Nov 2024. I returned it after two days. The pro. The screen was large. Although the specs said 11-inch, the screen was actually close to 12-inch. They listed this as 11-inch to differentiate the ONN 12-inch tablet. I like the aspect ratio, too.
Now, the con. It couldn't open my PDF reader apps. It was either the CPU or the EMMC was too slow, or both. I had turned off Wi-Fi; disabled background activities; only had one active app to help it in every possible way. It still struggled. I bought this tablet to read PDF files. The only reason I bought it. But it had fared poorly. Back to Walmart it went. At least it was under $180 brand new, and I got my money back.

I bought the 2023 10.1 pro[https://slickdeals.net/f/18437968-10-4-onn-tablet-pro-64gb-2023-model-grey-or-silver-49-free-shipping] and it kinda cured me of my interest in onn tablets. Obviously not the same tablet, but it was so laggy as to be unusable. I wanted to like it. Build quality is nice, screen is great, but android has turned into a resource hog. I don't know if it's the cpu (mediatek 8768) or the memory (3gb), but android does not perform well in lower-end conditions. It now lives in a drawer somewhere.
Having said that, my kids have A9+ tablets with very similar specs and they are far more usable. It's not a high-end experience, but it's very usable. For context, I paid $119 for those tablets (new) so $73 for an open-box Onn is an 'ok' deal.

It's $27.90 after 10% coupon from the same seller on ebay (Someone posted the link below me). For the less than $30, an 11" screen with a Snapdragon 685 is very capable. Not saying it will be amazing but shouldn't have any lag issues as long as you don't have a ton of apps running simultaneously or Chrome running with 30 tabs as the 4gb of ram will be your bottleneck.

Well worth the $29.67 I paid after tax.
