500nit screen is disappointing.
Why? That is literally one of the highest brightness OLED screen among these Gaming laptops and it peaks at 1000 nits.

Are you considering that due to the fear of OLED Burn in?

No. I do not like reflective screens.

pay to play. There was one for $1800 or so. I got the 5090 and it was much better as expected but depending on your need. It is $3200 or $2900 others brands posted on here too ---)

This is pretty interesting, it's basically spec'd out the same as a Lenovo Legion 7i, but with a 15-in screen. Anyone know if there are build quality differences?

I would've probably pulled the trigger if this was white. I need something to match this damn millennium falcon mouse 😆

Good price for the laptop but I would hesitate to spend significantly more than $1k on a gaming laptop saddled with just 8 GB of VRAM. I think the 5060 deals under $1k make sense, but when you start talking these "good deal" 5070 laptops around $1k to $1.3k range even though the 5070 is obviosly slightly faster being saddled with only 8 GB VRAM is just a huge compromise to a beautiful 1600p screen like this where so many games you'll have to back off to 1080p/1200p in the future to even play without running out of VRAM. Nvidia screwed the pooch so bad this laptop gen saddling the 5070 with only 8 GB of VRAM. Have to step so far up in price ($1500+) to get something with decent VRAM in the 5070Ti and thats still just 12 GB.
AMD could have taken the lower mid-range gaming laptop market by storm with RDNA 4 and 12-16GB of VRAM in around $1k laptops.
