These use cherry's MX ULP switches which are about half the height of the usual low profile switches you see in the wild (like kailh), so think laptop keyboard levels of flatness and key travel but mechanical feel.
If you've ever used a keyboard with tactile switches (mx brown and clones), the tactile bump is somewhere in the middle of the key travel - you have to press the key down some amount to get to the point where it registers your key press. ULP switches are more like scissor switches in laptops where the bump is all up front at the beginning of the key travel. I've always liked this style better as the feedback is a lot more obvious and instantaneous, but you end up always bottoming out.
Which is emphasized in ULP keyboards because the keys are pretty loud (whereas most scissor switch kbs are pretty quiet). I'm pretty sure this is the LOUDEST space bar I have ever had the joy of experiencing.
Worth checking out if you're a scissor switch sicko.
