Thanks for the post. Bought these last time they were on sale. Added some heated pads to them and the cats have loved them.

Which heated pads? Want to make sure I pick something that fits.

TIA

Got the E-style last time. Some of ours like sleeping on top of it, one or two will occasionally sleep in it. One really liked chewing on the asterisk-shaped piece of felt you remove for the door. The assembly of these things is actually pretty clever. Love the little 'nails' that hold the roof on.

We also call our style 'the butthole.'

Got a couple different styles a couple months ago (maybe more?) and the cats love them. Just a warning that we bought one of the "butthole" style and I had to use a utility knife to cut all the way around the perimeter as even our slimmest cat had trouble squeezing in. But it was really easy to modify, and they've been a bigger hit than expected. On the flimsy side, but for the price I'm considering buying another.

I didn't buy a pad that fit perfectly so I don't have a good suggestion. Bought something that was on sale during black friday and they're bent at an angle inside the houses. This is what I got in them. amazon.com/dp/B000S9M2U4?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_12
I own only the indoor houses the 3 different styles offered. The 12.5 width sits almost perfectly in all the houses but the 25 length is bent to fit.

Lol, I've been trying not to use the term "butthole" style but it is an apt description. I think our cats struggle with the tendrils too. Might just trim those off.

The real Slickdeal is buying something for yourself and it being delivered in a free cat house.

Do not believe the marketing of this as a temporary cage. Your cat would need to be zonked out when you put them inside and continue to be incredibly passive while you struggle to get the tabs in the slots for this to be viable. This is not an easy assembly, and definitely not easy if your cat would struggle in the slightest.

I know for a fact I would buy this and take the time to assemble it only for my cat to prefer the box it came in lmfao

Yeah, I'm on the fence about this. I've bought cheap cardboard cat houses from Aldi which are cheap and quick to set up. My cats like them for about a week then studiously ignore them. I think they just prefer being off the ground--cat tree, couch, table, etc.

Last time there were so many weird comments about having an indoor dog house. Let's see how many comments there will be about an indoor cat house.
