Do people genuinely misplace their keys or vehicles that often where they need to implant them with a tracking device?
The only real uses I could think of would be for luggage tracking (not that it'll motivate the airline to actually DO anything about lost luggage...just that you know it's sitting in a warehouse in Berlin or something).....and for high value postal/courier packages. Where the value of the item FAR exceeds the cost of these little doohickey trackers.
