It's getting closer to my price. It'd make a great one for an Epic Christmas finale. Also, it's rumored to be coming to Switch 2 which should also be good.

Well, I have a 7900 XTX so no DLSS advantage for me. Not sure how well FSR performs on this. Though I'm wondering if I ought to get this for PC just to see how well it works on Linux vs. Windows. I'm finding more and more that I generally get very stable frame rates on Linux (it's a console like experience in that respect), compared to Windows where some unreal games with poor optimization stutter like crazy.
DLSS 4/4.5 is better but FSR 4 is still very good.

This game seems to be very popular and yet at the same time I rarely see any discussion about why it's so good.

Like even at this price point it's not a very good deal. Yet it's on the front page.

It is a glorified Temu trash, it started years ago with fake trailers to build up the hype and then ended up with just like most Temu products do - copycats, the only exception is they spent much more on the package and charge you more than the usual Temu craps.

So you're comparing a digital game that took years to develop and millions of dollars in investment to a physical marketplace that sells cheap stuff?

I haven't played the game but it anyone can clearly see that it looks very good. Almost all professional reviews lamented its technical performance but praised its looks as being among the best in this generation. It garnered decent reviews, and sold very well even outside the Chinese market. It has a legitimate fan following. It did win many awards and was nominated for various categories by multiple gaming outlets.

I'm not saying it's the best thing than sliced bread, but by almost all metrics, your comments are excessively harsh, and frankly reek of racism. Calling it 'Temu trash' just because it's from a Chinese developer is as racist as a comment as can be. If you have legitimate critiques of the game please share those -- not this nonsensical bile.

With regard to a 'fake trailer', I think this did better than most western studios that drum up hype using a fake CGI trailer. At least theirs was a real gameplay trailer.

Bought it on release. Was good for about a month, then whatever they updated made it unplayable as it would crash my system within 15-20 seconds. Couldn't get a refund b/c I logged too many hours. Was able to finally play it again after I bought a new PSU this summer, but I lost 20+ FPS since launch. Was gettin 90-100 FPS on 1440P High settings with RTX 3080 Ryzen 3600x 16 GBs RAM.

Game is fun if you can get it to run and avoid all the frame drops in fights. Honestly, you'd probably have more fun playing Where Winds Meet for free.

"I haven't played the game but you are a racist".

LOL

This is the best you can do?

Buy it and play it through before you want to post such crap.

Here are the facts :

1. This game has more air walls than many Indie 3D, 99 cents games on Steam - this is a comment from real Chinese players posted on Steam and Chinese Tik Tok.

2. Many of the character models in the game were neve completed, either the backside were empty or disappeared due to bad codings - again coming from Chinese players.

3. Many of the trailers released years before the game released claiming real game plays on unreal engine are all fake, there were many videos compared frame to frame on those trailers against the retail version - again coming from Chinese players.

4. Its a joke to defend the gaming industry of China, this is a market which is always having no shame of stealing ideas/content, leading gaming companies like Tencent/Netease are blood suckers and all they cared is money. There are more bots using and cheating among Chinese players than any other groups of players in the world - again comment from Chinese players.

I'm not sure why you are so hell bent on the 'Chinese' aspect of this game and keep mentioning what Chinese players think and what Chinese players are like.

Just review the game on its own merit -- divorced from its origins. Expedition 33 was a great game -- the fact that it came from a French studio is besides the point. Stellar Blade is an immensely fun game -- not just 'fun for a Korean game'.

So is BMW a game worth playing? That's the only question of relevance. Whether it came from China or some other country is an interesting factoid but shouldn't sway a player's decision.

And come on -- you could have called the game 'trash', whether it deserves that moniker or not. But you called it 'Temu trash'. Do I really have to explain it to you why that's a racist comment?

So what's the verdict now in terms of best platform to play it on? PC or PlayStation? I know both versions had various issues on the game's release, with certain modes having high stutter or other issues. And then the game went through multiple patches. I did not keep up, so not sure what the best platform is now.

So, if you have a (relatively) decent PC, and PS5 Pro as well, which would be the better platform performance-wise? Prices on both platforms are about the same on sales now, hence wondering.
Plays great with a 3080TI and the settings slightly down, non-cinematic in 4k, between 70-80 FPS.
