some of the amazon reviews for this thing show some sketchy construction, at least one instance of a failure showing scorch marks. Neat form factor, don't think I'd trust it.

Just once I'd like the construction on this stuff to be excellent. Like, give me 4 or 5 usb ports that can drive 5V 2.4A each not combined and then give me plugs on top of that. I feel like we never see slickdeals for those. :\ What brand do I have to look up? Anker?
