You could take clippings of tons of different ornamental and indoor plants. Just Google how. And you put them in there with water, you can leave them in for months, and they make roots. I even use these when I take clippings of Japanese maple branches and put them indoors for the winter, let some little Roots develop, then plant them in the spring
