Whenever I post about value or perception with refurbished items I get a down vote but I'll take the chance. You don't need a 1000W power supply with any PC unless you're using something like a 5080 / 5090. An 850W runs fine with a 5080. Speaking from experience as I ran an RM850x with a 5080 FE. Also I'm not sold on future proofing with a part like this as it's not worth the savings vs wear and team unless you plan an upgrade of the PC in the very near future. Either way do you want to run multi-hundred or thousand dollar GPUs on a refurbished power supply? The truth of it is you don't know what the history of the component is. Spend 30-50 dollars more, which is a fraction of the GPU cost, and get a new one with a better warranty from a different and reputable brand or get a new 850W Corsair, if it's 5080 or sub, for a cost closer to this is my advice.
I don't care that it's Corsair refurbished.
I bought the XPG Cybercore 1000w Platinum (A+ tier) that was on here not long for $80. The coil whine on my 6800XT is lessened with it. I replaced a Seasonic GM850 Gold, which is A rated on the tier list and is no slouch.

IDK about the rest of you but I've personally never had a PSU die on me. I even had an old ULTRA back in the day that lasted over 10yrs bouncing from system to system.
