Anything with a golden stripe is a No go as they cant be microwaved. Dishwasher can have wear on them too.

I have purchased 2 different Lenox dinnerware sets with a gold rim that are both dishwasher and microwave safe. .. including this one trianna (but in a different color). I'm not sure how they do it, but they microwave just fine.
