But if you cancel it from BB they will not honor the cancellation and will send it to you anyway. That is what happened to me when Acer had it for $1,274 refurbished. I saw the Acer eBay sale on Slickdeals and went back to BB and cancelled the order within minutes. They refused to cancel the order, they didn't ship it for days but did ship it anyway, it was returned to BB as I was not home (another medical reason for my cancellation), and it took weeks to get the refund. Never again for me at BB. On the other hand Acer was great to work with and the laptop looked brand new.
The predator obviously is so much better at gaming, not even close. Also Apple's mini LED screens are notorious for having very slow response times (much slower than usual laptops), so the OLED screen (which typically has instantaneous response times along with perfect blacks) on the predator would be much better at any kind of content consumption.
The predator has a 2560x1600 resolution on the 16 inch screen and MBP has a screen that has a higher PPI so MBP will have more crisp texts. And typically these gaming laptops do not have great speakers, so MBP will also win there. It seems like they have similar weights. I don't like MBP keyboards (shallow travel) but I haven't touched the predator so I don't know how its keyboard feels like.
