Decided to return my Omen Max 16 for this. Seems like it's worth the $250 premium for better cooling, which results in slightly better performance.

Could not get them to stack, but my ID.me senior discount works. Works on the 5080 desktop too.

I have this laptop but with 64GB of RAM. Runs everything like a dream, and is quieter than my old Asus Zephyrus G15 (2021) I upgraded from. My only complaints are the glossy screen instead of matte, the chonky power brick, and the laptop was too wide to fit my backpack. Otherwise, highly recommend.

I doubt it. The power brick is 400W.

If you have VIP/EPP, the price is $1976. You can't use EXTRAFIVE coupon but does take the BUYMORELENOVO

Strange, I'm unable to find it through my work EPP. But then when I sign out I can find it instantly

Also make sure to check capital one offerings. Its not as good as the winters offering with $500 return. The current offer i see if spend $1k, get $100 back on all the credit cards I have.

How are the builds on these? Should I spend the extra on extended warranty?

Definitely not. If you turned off the dGPU, under clocked the processor, ran the display at 60 hz, etc. then you *might* be able to run it as a basic laptop.

This is unapologetically a desktop replacement meant to be plugged in at all times. This is a big dog that needs to eat.

If you can make peace with that, the Lenovo Legion Pro 7i is a glorious experience.

I have the Gen 9. I love it.

Bought this last year for $2300 with 64gb and 2 TB ssd... With ram prices these days, I feel I still got a good deal than this.
